May 2011 until present- Photographer and Graphic Designer - Los Gatos Design

1985 until April 2011- Owner/Proprietor - Accent on Rugs of Los Gatos

Worked as a professional photographer and college art instructor from 1968 until 1985.  Formally trained to teach photography  and art at the college level.  Due to the cutbacks following the passage of California's Proposition 13, decided to pursue more reliable income sources apart from education.

Collections and Galleries

Photographs are represented in a variety of public collections, including the Corcoran Museum, Crocker Museum, Museum of New Mexico and the University of New Mexico.

Studied with Beaumont Newhall, Tom Barrow and Betty Hahn.

Imogen Cunningham workshop in 1976 was a profound and moving experience.  Imogen was an inspiration for living. She provide a clear understanding of  the distinction between taking pictures and making a photograph.
