The photographs presented here have been made over 40 years. This web site presents a variety of threads of interest that I have pursued erratically.
Recently retired from a career in sales, I am now fortunate to have the time and the energy to more actively present an organized overview of photographic themes that continue to hold my interest and motivate new work.
My photographs derive from an acceptance and pleasure in looking at familiar places, hopefully in a special light or in a new way. Despite my angst about the negative effects man has had on the natural landscape, I always try to temper my anxiety with a sense of humor and the joy of discovery.
Some of the themes that continue to stimulate me include the influence of man’s hand on the contemporary landscape. I have been fascinated with the evidence of man’s linear thinking contrasted with the perfectly chaotic disarray of a sublime natural order.
Please enjoy the web site and be sure to check back from time to time as the collection and blog evolves!
