For more than 30 years, I have photographed the landscape of the American West. My photographs are inspired by the inherent beauty of the landscape seen in contrast to man's presence and influence on the earth. While these photographs are not intended as a political statement, hopefully the photographs provoke consideration about where we live and how we relate to our environment.

Although I may personally have a general mistrust of man's failed stewardship of the earth, I try to temper this cynicism with a sense of humor about humanity.

Presented here are several themes that have been of ongoing importance to me. Included are themes of Architecture, Americana, Scale and Perspective as well as some simply beautiful views of the American West.
